this gif set mashes up scenes from the donghua mdzs adaptation with corresponding imagery from cql. this was form mxtxnet's mxtxtober celebration with the prompt being adaptation. the images are placed in cql appearance order with the donghua scene being replaced by the cql scene with an ink splatter or spill like transition. this first gif is donghua lan wangji standing in front of a full moon with his qin being obscured by cql lan wangji's entrance. he is rising over a rooftop with arms spread and one knee lifted.
